We shot DJ & Jessica’s Hawaii engagement session at the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the big island.  Chriss & I really enjoyed the challenge of shooting in a new location since we are so accustomed to photographing engagement sessions at locations we’re familiar with.  We scouted the property ahead of time to determine when the light would be perfect at different spots in the resort, then we crossed our fingers in hopes that we wouldn’t encounter torrential afternoon winds like we had the last couple days.  The Hilton Waikoloa Village did not disappoint, and DJ & Jessica were naturals in front of the camera!  Enjoy!

These next 4 images are slightly similar, but I love all of them & just couldn’t decide… 

I smelled something burning & saw this look on Jessica’s face.  I had no idea what was going on until about 1/4 of a second later when this flame runner dude almost ran me over & singed my hair!  #workplacehazards
