Jewish Wedding Photography – Los Angeles Wedding

Lauren and Josh are a super fun couple who met while attending Indiana University.  Chriss and I first photographed them for a surprise proposal/engagement session in Huntington Beach.  Josh surprised Lauren with a romantic retreat to the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach.  She had no idea that his plans also included popping the question, and he already had the best photography team booked to shoot their engagement session the same day.

Their wedding day began at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City.  After some beautiful portraits and romantic first look, we headed over to the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.  We had a ton of fun shooting around the center grounds.  The photos came out beautiful, in spite of the 100 degree plus, super humid weather.  Lauren and Josh are Jewish so we were able to document the intimate Ketubah signing before the ceremony.  The most memorable part of their day had to have been the choreographed “flash mob” with over 100 of their friends during the grand entrance.
