One of my friends from high school (shout out to Newport Harbor!) owns an adorable children and tween clothing boutique in Palos Verdes Estates called Doll House.  If you’re ever up that way, you must check out this store, such cute clothes and Jean (owner) is a sweetheart.  Jean and I partnered up for a photoshoot this past weekend, and I’ll be using some of the images to decorate her store.  I had a BLAST hanging out with and photographing these girls!  You would think they’re professional models with all the energy they exuded in front of my camera; it was awesome!  Make sure you “like” Carly Daniel Photography on facebook for access to valuable promotions (promise I won’t fill your inbox with tons of messages) and check out Doll House while you’re there.  Here’s some of my favorites from the day…

Most of the time when I ask my subjects to do something, it’s not that exact moment I’m looking to capture.  I told Natalie to blow a kiss at me…

then I got the image I really wanted.  I knew she couldn’t keep a straight face through all that!

I had the girls do a runway walk and strut their stuff.  Why not throw in a few dance moves too?!  Nothing is off limits with tweens :)
