Newport Beach LDS Temple Wedding

It is often said that romantic relationships are strongest when they’ve evolved from a friendship. There’s also the saying “couples who play together stay together,” and I know Brooke and Joe’s marriage will be a testament to this. The extremely happy couple was wed at the Newport Beach LDS Temple on a sunny September afternoon. We had a few hours between the Temple photo session and the reception, so pit stopped at the Huntington Beach Hyatt for a mini photo sess, then took some really fun pics on the couple’s beloved tandem bike. Many Mormon wedding receptions are structured a bit differently than the typical wedding reception. At Brooke & Joe’s SeaCliff Country Club reception, they were greeted by over 300 guests throughout the night. The buffet was set up most of the night, so people could eat at their leisure. This allowed the couple more time to socialize with their guests, and created a casual/comfortable environment for everyone. Brooke & Joe- congratulations on your new life together! I can’t wait for you to make beautiful babies so I can photograph them!
The newlyweds are congratulated by close friends and family upon their exit from the Temple.
The staircase in front of the Temple is a perfect spot for a big group photo.
Seems like Joe always knew what to do to make Brooke laugh.

Talk about a blushing bride! Isn’t her hair style just perfect?
Someone ordered the wrong size shirt!
Joe’s friends asked me to take this pic. Inside joke apparently!
