It was so exciting to see my old high school friend Esther Lofgren compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.  However, she not only competed, her United States Women's Eight Rowing Team won the gold medal.  About a month later I got a Facebook message from Esther asking if I would shoot a portrait session with her shiny new medal.  That was an easy answer.  We photographed this session in Downtown Huntington Beach to really capture a balance of Esther's athletic and feminine sides.  After we shot this...
