I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Baby K every few months since he was a newborn baby.  This session marks his 1 year photo session, and I must say, it was kind of an emotional experience seeing him as a big 1 year old!  I feel like it was mere weeks ago that I was taking his newborn photos.  One of the most special parts about my job is watching babies grow from a few-day-old newborn into a toddler then into a big kid :)  I love watching their little personalities develop and chatting with mom & dad about their latest milestones.  Baby K has always been an “easy” baby and enjoyed being in front of the camera.  He had just woken from a nap when he arrived at our studio, so it took him a little while to get into the groove of things.  We played with toys around the studio & let him fully wake up before diving in to the real fun part- the cake smash!  Thank you to Baby K’s momma for bringing several adorable Burberry outfits for me to play with :)

I posted several images of Baby K before I finished his 1 year photo album layout.  His album turned out so cute, so I want to share that also.  The first part of the post is his album, followed by some individual images.  I highly encourage my clients to take advantage of our beautiful, high quality printed products (books, birth announcements, canvas gallery wraps, etc.) and not confine their images to digital files sitting on a computer hard drive. This book will now be a keepsake in their family forever, and hopefully some day Baby K will show it to his children :)  See another one of Baby K’s baby portrait sessions
